Social Netball

The SASP Social Netball League is held three times a year in the Spring, Summer & Autumn. It is open to all ladies of any age (13+) and ability. Any team can enter, a back to netball group, a group of friends, a team from your workplace. It is a friendly social league for ladies to have fun and enjoy sport!

If you want to play netball but aren't ready for social competition just yet, there are pay and play sessions available throughout the week at Taunton Vale Sports Club, Gipsy Lane Staplegrove, TA2 6LP.

Monday's Beginners 6:30-7:30pm £4.00

Monday's Intermediate 7:30pm-8:30pm £4.00

Tuesday's Walking Netball 9:15-10:15am £3.50

Friday's Beginners 9:15-10:45am £3.50

All sessions run term time only, there is no need to book, you can just turn up to any session. Wear clothes that you feel comfortable to exercise in and bring a drink there will lots of time to have a break and a chat throughout the session or just catch your breath!

The Summer League 2019 is starting soon

Entry Fee - £35.00 entry per team (payable online here)

• Each team must complete this online Entry Form by Wednesday 17th April 2019.

• Matches will start on Thursday 2nd May and finish by Thursday 18th July.

• Matches will be allocated at one of the start times of 6:30pm, 7.20pm, 8:10pm and 9.00pm, dependent on the number of team entries to the league.

Please note that due to the popularity of the Summer League, players can only be named in one team and each team must have at least 7 players named. Players will still be able to fill in for other teams if needed and for emergencies but this should not be a weekly occurrence.
