Volunteer as a Health Walk Leader

If you are interested in supporting local people to get active outdoors, becoming a Health Walk Leader is a great way to get involved.
Training prepares volunteers to lead local walks as part of Somerset’s Health Walks programme. You will receive nationally recognised training delivered locally, along with ongoing support and access to helpful resources.
The role includes planning routes, leading walks, completing simple paperwork and occasionally taking part in meetings or additional training. Each walk usually lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours, with a minimum commitment of one walk per month.
