Health & Wellbeing Partners

Healthcare and allied health professionals play a vital role in starting and shaping meaningful conversations with people about moving more to improve their health and wellbeing. SASP works closely with primary and secondary care across Somerset to embed this and provide continuous opportunities and confidence in this area.

This page will give further information about how physical activity can be used to improve lives through local opportunities, useful resources and upcoming training for health professionals. When supporting individuals, it is important that they are able to choose the types of physical activity that appeal to them, and that they feel confident, willing and able to consistently engage in these activities.

Use the map to easily reveal what’s available (these have been divided into Somerset Primary Care Network (PCN’s) Areas) or use the orange Activity Finder button to explore opportunities near you.
