Older Adults Physical Activity Development Fund Application Form

SASP is inviting organisations and stakeholders across Somerset to apply for a share of up to £2000 from a total of £11,000 available  funding, provided by Public Health at Somerset Council, to strengthen the workforce supporting older adults to be more physically active.

We are looking to support projects that will build skills, confidence and capacity across the workforce, helping more older adults to stay active, independent and well.

Funding could support areas such as older adult physical activity and falls prevention training, strength and balance, workforce development, improved signposting and brief interventions, cross-sector skills development, and community-led approaches.

Successful projects must be delivered over a minimum of 18 months and demonstrate how they will contribute to sustainable, long-term improvements in the way older adults are supported to be physically active.

Before completing this application, please ensure you have read the full funding guidance and understand the eligibility criteria and requirements.

We look forward to hearing how your organisation could help create a stronger, more connected workforce for active ageing across Somerset.
