Free Community Physical Activity
The West Somerset Enhanced Access service is available to anyone registered with one of the following GP practices:
- Dunster and Porlock surgeries
- Exmoor Medical Centre
- Minehead Medical Centre
- West Somerset Healthcare
Our West Somerset Enhanced Access Service supports people to access physical activity in order to promote and protect their health. If you are struggling with your weight, living with a long-term health condition, at risk of diabetes or just ready to take control of your health, the qualified team at 'The Beach Wellness' can give you the free support and access to the gym at key times (typically weekday evenings and weekends) to make healthy changes to your lifestyle.
Your qualified Instructor will provide a comprehensive health assessment and activity programme to help guide and work with you through your current health issues and ability, to help you find ways to incorporate more free health-giving activities into your current lifestyle and help you gain the confidence to build a healthy future.
