We run, support and promote a range of learning opportunities across Somerset. Supporting you to improve your knowledge, skills and confidence, and to meet those minimum standards to deliver safe and effective physical activity interventions in your community.
Safeguarding & Protecting Children
If you have never completed this course then you need to complete the first instance via a UK Coaching online classroom which can be booked here.
Once you have completed the course once, every 3 years you will need to renew. You can do this via an eLearning renewal here.
This online course will give you the knowledge and confidence to safeguard adults at your sessions, including those identified as 'at risk'. You'll learn how to create a safe environment in which all adults can enjoy sport and physical activity.

UK Coaching courses develop your skills to help you deliver excellent and inspiring coaching sessions to people from all walks of life. Choose from a variety of webinars, eLearning, face-to-face and more, there is a cost to some but a number are free.
