What's the time Mr Sea Creature?

  1. One person stands at one end of the room and acts as the 'sea creature'. Place some toys near where the Sea Creature is standing. All the other players stand on the other side of the deep blue sea (the other side of the room).
  2. To start the game players ask 'what's the time Mr Sea Creature?' players then move however many steps the Sea Creature says. If the sea creature says 'dinner time' the Sea Creature can chase the players back to the shore.
  3. Players attempt to collect as many toys as they can from the Sea Creature and take them back to the shore without being caught.

Shipwrecked

  1. Each player starts on their own treasure island, this could be a cushion or small blanket on the floor. At the opposite end of the room place as many different toys as you can, these are pieces of treasure
  2. Agree a time to play and set a timer. Players travel to the lost island (this is where all the treasure is waiting) and collect one piece of treasure at a time and bring it back to their treasure island.
  3. Keep playing until the timer runs out. To make the game harder try placing objects in the way of the lost island so that you have to climb over or crawl under.
