We look forward to welcoming everyone to the annual Somerset Summer School Games on Thursday and Friday this week. We are expecting over 2000 school children to take part in the games across the 2 days, held at the amazing facilities of Millfield Senior School in Street.

Somerset County Council is encouraging parents and carers to protect children from the harmful effects of the sun at home or abroad this summer.
Exposing children to too much sun may significantly increase their risk of skin cancer later in life.
Covering up, staying in the shade and using sunscreen are the best ways to protect children against the sun.

The sun was out, our mascot Champ the dog was ready to entertain...it must mean another School Games Event. On Thursday 20th and Friday 21st April, over 1000 primary and secondary children descended on the Millfield School estate, ready for the Somerset Spring School Games 2017.

Thursday 7th and Friday 8th July saw over 2000 primary and secondary school children descend to Millfield School, Street for the annual Somerset School Games.
