We look forward to welcoming everyone to the annual Somerset Summer School Games on Thursday and Friday this week. We are expecting over 2000 school children to take part in the games across the 2 days, held at the amazing facilities of Millfield Senior School in Street.

In May 2013 Jamie attended the Somerset Parallel School Games Athletics competition as part of the Castle School Team. The event is also a qualifying event for the Disability Sport England National Disabled Junior Athletic Competition which is held at Yeovil Olympiads Athletic Track where there are several sprint wheelchairs for anyone wishing to try out the sport. Thursday 7th and Friday 8th July saw over 2000 primary and secondary school children descend to Millfield School, Street for the annual Somerset School Games. The event was run across 2 days, with 12 different sports on offer that the young people competed in.
