SASP Roadmap Out of Lockdown

Here are details of the SASP roadmap out of lockdown, which has all the detail on individual programmes. This is a phased approach and in the timeframe that the government guidance allows (which may change).

*Please note these are the earliest times indicated by the Government and may move backwards.

Step 1 (a) - 8th March

• Schools re-open and sport in schools can resume (including after school sports activities)

Step 1 (b) - 29th March

• Somerset Health Walks

• Active Spaces

• Beach Wellness (outdoor classes)

• Outdoor parent & child groups (up to 15 parents).

• Outdoor sports facilities (tennis, bowls, basketball courts etc)

• Organised outdoor sport allowed (children and adults), includes Jump Start, Disability, Revive & Adult Social Sport (including Netball)

• Holiday Activity & Food programme – wraparound care (Indoor)

Step 2 - 12th April

• Swim School (Learn to Swim – Quantock) from 19th April

• Swim School (Curriculum - Quantock & Taunton) from 19th April

• Beach Wellness (Gym only – individual or same household)

• Beach Wellness GP Referral (Individual)

• Indoor leisure (including gyms) open for use individually or within household groups

• All children's indoor activities (including sport), indoor parent & child groups (e.g. Healthy Mums (up to 15 parents)

Step 3 - 17th May

• Beach Wellness (Indoor Group Exercise Classes)

• Indoor adult sport

Step 4 - 21st June

• Removal of legal limits on social contact
