Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement: Monday 2nd November
Posted: Mon, 02 Nov 2020 15:34
It is with regret that all face to face SASP programmes are suspended from Thursday 5th November until the government restrictions allow us to return. We will, as ever, do everything in our power to support people to remain physically active within these restrictions through our virtual offers which we have become very practised at.
Physical activity and moving more is probably more important than ever before and despite the challenges of the winter weather, we want to support you to move more both with the daily exercise we are all allowed outside for, and exercise within the home. Use our Active at Home tab to find a wealth of on line opportunity for all ages, tastes and fitness levels and follow us on our socials.
Any sessions scheduled to take place this week, will continue up until the end of Wednesday 4th November, after which they will be suspended.
It is vital that members of the public continue to lead active lives for physical and emotional wellbeing throughout this period, whether that's exercise at home or walking and cycling, where its possible and safe to do so. Remember you can exercise outside with the people you live with, with your support bubble, when on your own, with 1 person from another household.
Stay Safe and Well
