SASP partners with Somerset NHS Foundation Trust to Deliver New Project

SASP partners Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to deliver the county councils healthy weight, physical activity and healthy eating commission for the next 4 years

SASP is delighted to be delivering the physical activity side of this new commission which started on 4th January 2016. We are focused on getting everyone more active from early years to those who think they are too old to start moving.

We are really excited about linking with the Health Trainers at Somerset Partnership, who will deal with the weight management aspect of the commission and we have already started talking about how they might choose to add options around physical activity in over time for their referrals.

We will be updating everyone with how we get on but if you have ideas, groups or events that you think that physical activity for health would be an ideal partner please do get in touch through the Zing Somerset website.
