About Programme Officer - Street
Chance to Shine coaches inspire children, young people and teachers in state schools and in disadvantaged communities through our Street programme. We work with half a million children each year - nearly half of which are girls.The Operations team is tasked with creating and implementing high quality programmes in both school and community environments, giving over 500,000 young people the opportunity to play, learn and develop through cricket every year.
Our Schools programmes aims to inspire children with a brilliant first experience of cricket, develop physical literacy and a love of sport at a crucial age, helps teachers to build confidence and provides a pathway to community sport.Our Street programme gives young people who face barriers to play cricket have the opportunity to do so regularly in their community – one where they feel safe and included.This is an exciting time to be joining the Operations team as our programmes are well established with excellent support from key stakeholders, especially England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Sport England.
