About Programme Leader

The Institute of Swimming is looking for a Programme Leader to join their team on a fixed term basis covering Maternity Leave.

The Institute of Swimming work in conjunction with Swim England as a subsidiary, and exist for the good of the sport; developing the best aquatic professionals is our priority.

We are the largest provider of Swim England qualifications and aquatics courses and we train over 7000 teachers and coaches a year in the UK.

We are seeking a Programme Leader to join our team on a Fixed Term Maternity Cover until 31 August 2020.

This is an exciting opportunity working within the Institute of Swimming. As part of a busy team you will be responsible for leading the activities of the Institute of Swimming's Training's business units, to ensure efficient management, planning and delivery to a high standard of customer care. You will also be responsible for managing the troubleshooting of commercial programmes, evaluating business plans and leading on certain qualification and programme areas.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have an understanding of the Institute of Swimming's training products
  • Have had previous line management experience
  • Have demonstrable ability of setting and achieving challenging and realistic work targets
  • Have a high level of computer literacy
  • Have the flexibility to work outside of standard working hours on occasion in line with business needs
