EYFS Physical Activity Audit Introduction

The EYFS Physical Activity Audit is an opportunity for settings across Somerset to gain accreditation with the county's active partnership. The audit, which is also endorsed by the Somerset Council challenges settings to evaluate themselves against 5 different units (each unit has between 5-7 different criteria);

  • Setting Overview
  • Physical Activity Provision
  • Workforce Development
  • Family Engagement
  • Learning

Each setting taking part in the audit will receive their own online (and app based) dashboard. With a simple and easy to use interface, settings will be able to complete the audit and make real impact with ease. This audit will enable settings to:

  • Recognised and accredited for two years with SASP
  • Individual Impact Report
  • Receive a framed certificate
  • Increase physical activity levels of their children
  • Become part of a Community of Learning Group to work together and share best practice
  • Link a wide range of learning to the EYFS framework

Within this webinar delegates will; gain a better understanding of what the audit entails, how they can start their own journey on the audit, how to use the online dashboard and what benefits it will bring to their setting.
