Sport is one of 10 specialisms within the Specialist Schools programme. They focuson PE and sport and deliver a four year development plan to raise whole school standards. Somerset has three Specialist Sports Colleges ; King Alfred’s at Burnham-on Sea; King Arthur’s at Wincanton and the Castle School in Taunton.
