What are they about?
School Sport Co-ordinator partnerships are families of schools that come together to enhance sports opportunities for all. The partnerships are based at the Specialist Sports Colleges and include adjacent secondary schools and their feeder Primary schools.
Each Partnership is managed by the Partnership Development Manager (PDM) and a School Sport Co-ordinator (SSCo) is based at each Secondary school. Each primary school has a Prrimary Link Teacher (PLT). The SSCo works closely with their PLTs to deliver high quality PE and Sport.
Somerset has three Specialist Sports Colleges ; King Alfred’s at Burnham-on Sea; King Arthur’s at Wincanton and the Castle School in Taunton
