What is high quality PE and school sport?

High quality PE and school sport produces young people with the skills, understanding, desire and commitment to continue to improve and achieve in a range of PE, sport and health-enhancing physical activities in line with their abilities.

SASP is working closely with Teachers in Somerset to support them in the delivery of high quality PE and sport in curriculum time.

SASP coaches are available to work alongside teachers for a day a week for half a term delivering multi-skill lessons. They work to detailed lesson plans based on the TOP Play and TOP Sports cards.
